Gas separation

A number of different zeolites and molecular sieves are available for pressure swing adsorption purposes. Gas drying by way of gas cooling

Gas cooling is an effective solution in order to dehumidify biogas in the engine prior to combustion. In this process, water condenses out as a result of the gas being cooled, which improves the combustion process in the engine.

Gas cooling for dehumidification of gas prior to combustion

Gas heating

Heating the gas can help to save operating costs. The correct relative gas humidity set for the activated carbon can significantly increase the service life. All you need is a 10°C increase in temperature in order to be within the optimum operating range. Even the risk of thermal bridges and condensate formation is reduced.
